20 years ago, in the 2nd grade

In September of 1991, I entered the second grade at P.S. 193 "The Gil Hodges School." My teacher was Mrs. Berrenberg. A running assignment throughout the school year was a journal in which we had to write a few sentences and a corresponding illustration. These are scans of each entry from 20 years ago, in the second grade.
“I going to karote”
I’m guessing this pertains to a coming, busy weekend.  Karate is back, still misspelled of course.  My dad’s violin lessons were also on the campus of Brooklyn College.  I did not much enjoy hearing him practice, it was short lived, though.  As for shopping, I wonder why it warranted mention in this entry as the most extensive shopping my dad and I ever did was at bookstores.  Perhaps I was very excited for my re-up of Goosebumps books and Hardy Boys.
